Julie Tapp

Hello fellow CUDS-mates.  I am entering my second year of CUDS pursuing a MACM after a 39 year break from school, so I am still adjusting to everything. I was an IBM’er for 36 of those years and fully retired for 3 years. I have 3 grown children and two fun loving dogs.  I love to play tennis and thought I would fill my retirement playing tennis and traveling, but both my body and God had other plans. I still play, and I still travel -- just not quite as much. My passion is working with special needs young adults, which is the group I volunteer to serve as much as I can at Hope Community Church in Raleigh. I love learning and growing in my faith and being with all of you and the community that we create at Campbell. Please look for me on campus. I am usually up for a chat and coffee or a walk and would love to get to know every one of you better.

Lori Poston

Hello, I'm from Virginia Beach, VA. Parker my guide dog is from Michigan. I have been doing children's ministry most of my life.

Timothy Rose

My name is Tim Rose. I am 56 years old and am married to Amy and have two adult sons, Janzen and Hunter. We live in Clinton, NC. I am a third year divinity school student and feel my calling is in pastoral care. I like fishing, the beach, and working outside.

Joy Craig

I live in Pittsboro and am a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, where I serve on the Personnel Committee and in a grief support ministry called Grief Oasis. I'm happily retired from a career in agricultural biotechnology, where I developed a love of making tables, charts, and graphs that carried over into Greek, history, and other CUDS courses. I'm married to Ron and mom to Brooklyn (22). I love to cook, to sing harmony, and to hear people's stories. I'm a night owl - happy to be a late-night study buddy but not much use before 9 am.

Greg Ellington

My name is Greg Ellington, and I joined the CUDS community in the spring of 2023 as an MDiv student. I am from Zebulon, NC and currently serve as the youth pastor of Ekklesia Church in Raleigh. I have a wonderful wife (Tori) and two rambunctious yet awesome kids (Audrey and Maverick). When I'm not working on schoolwork or chasing around my kids, you can probably find me playing pickleball or watching NC State athletics.

Cathy Storey

I grew up as a military brat so really don’t have a hometown  but my family settled in Texas when I was in 3rd grade. I married a military man and traveled the world with him. We’ve been married for almost 36 years. He recently retired and we are settling in the Raleigh area where our 3 kids, their spouses, and our 2 grandsons live. I have served in children’s ministry for more than thirty years in some capacity and look forward to what God will call me to in this next season. I like all kind of food but my favorite is pizza. When I’m not studying or hanging with family and friends, I’m in my craft room playing.

Paula Daigle

I am currently a chaplain at Richmond County Hospice as well as First Health, Pinehurst. I attended undergrad at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. My initial degrees include psychology and education. I have worked with children and adults with disabilities for over 40 years. God persistently nudged me in the direction of divinity school. Campbell and their gracious donors made this possible. I live in Southern Pines. My home church is St. Anthony’s which is located in So. Pines.

Anne Kelly

Hello everyone, I'm Anne Kelly. I recently finished my first year in the MDiv program, which has been one of the best years of my life. Being a part of the CU Divinity community has been an incredible experience, and my faith has grown in many ways. I'm also a registered nurse working in hospice and behavioral health settings. My home church is Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. At Mt. Carmel, I serve as a mission deacon, budget/finance committee member, and mental health ministry member, promoting wellness, assistance, and faith. Besides my love for learning about God, I enjoy ballet, fitness, and reading. I'm excited to support your journey at Campbell!

And More!
